Hats Off. A Great Memory With Simon Clarke As A Duo, 2000 - 2003
Hats Off is what can only be described as an experience in life - and what a great one!
Simon Clarke was Freddie's Musical director and keyboard player in the band.. He was the musical maestro for the Dreamers and is also a solo artist in his own right. We became firm friends as well as fellow Dreamers and when Freddie retired in 2000 due to ill-health, together we formed our duo "Hats Off". It was a great success and we enjoyed many a happy night giving repeat performances at venues round the UK for three years. We played for two summer seasons at the world-famous Winter Gardens in Blackpool, UK. and were even flown to Florida to perform at a couple of private parties. Simon now resides in Canada with his lovely wife Julia, is a busy solo artist going under the name of Simon Clarke...A Touch Of Class and is also a great bear hunter and fisherman in the Canadian Wilds !!
